Coolidge, Ariz. – Coconino Community College’s Shaelyn Honahni breaks the women’s 5k school record and finished top ten at Vaquero CAMPY Invitational.
Honahni lowered her own school record by 39 seconds, bringing it from 20:53 down to 20:14. Her time was good enough to finish 10th among 41 competitors. CCC’s Katlyn Potter 21:04 to finish 16th overall. Niki McCabe was the third comet to cross the finish line in 24:08, placing her 34th.
Central Arizona College won the invitational with a perfect score of 15.
Coconino Community College will compete next at the ACU Invite in Glendale, Arizona on the campus of Arizona Christian University.
