Men Compete at Vaquero CAMPY Invitational

Coolidge, Ariz. – The Coconino Community College men’s cross country competed at the 2021 Vaquero CAMPY Invitational hosted by Central Arizona College.

The comets were led by freshman Mauricio Gonzalez finishing in 60th place. His teammates were not far behind as Noah Rhoden and Levi Conery placed 61st, and 62nd respectively. Both Rhoden and Conery improved upon their 8k season best times. Conery made the biggest improvement by taking over 9 minutes off his previous best performance.

Central Arizona College won the team title with 20 points.

The men’s cross country team will compete next on October 29th at the NJCAA Region I Championships hosted at Heroes Park in Glendale, Arizona.
